Reshape ED at the International Stage: Our Team Represents Haiti

Education equity is not just a local conversation β€” it is a global one. And Reshape ED is committed to being part of it at every level.

Our team recently had the privilege of attending an international education conference, where we joined advocates, policymakers, researchers, and nonprofit leaders from around the world. The gathering brought together people united by a single conviction: that access to quality education is a fundamental right, not a privilege.

Why International Advocacy Matters

The challenges facing education in Haiti β€” underfunded schools, lack of supplies, barriers for girls and women, displacement β€” are not unique to Haiti. They are part of a global pattern that requires global solutions.

By participating in international forums, Reshape ED is able to:

  • Share what we have learned from years of direct community work in Haiti
  • Learn from peers who are tackling similar challenges in different contexts
  • Build partnerships that can amplify our impact and bring new resources to the communities we serve
  • Advocate for Haiti in spaces where policy decisions are made that affect funding, priorities, and international cooperation

Connections That Create Change

At this conference, our team connected with education leaders, UN representatives, and fellow nonprofit organizations. These conversations are not just networking β€” they are the beginning of collaborations that can translate into real programs, real funding, and real change for the children and families we work with.

We left with new ideas, new allies, and a renewed sense of purpose.

The Work Continues

Conferences are a moment. The work is constant. We return from every international engagement more committed than ever to the communities in Haiti who trust us to represent them β€” and to the mission that drives everything we do.

If you want to support that mission, donate today or get involved. Every contribution β€” whether it is your time, your skills, or your resources β€” helps us show up in spaces like this and bring the results back home.
